Himachal Pradesh, the state in northern India Place famous for its scenic beauty of mountains and glaciers bounded by the state of Jammu And Kashmir in the north, by Tibet region of China at the eastern side, in southeast by Uttarakhand, by Punjab in west and Haryana in the south. Himachal is also known as western Himalayas covering an area of 55,673 square km.
A large portion of the state lies on the foothills of the Dhauladhar Range. The highest peak of the state is Reo Purgyil at the height of 6,816 m. Before the foothills of the state were inhabited by the Indus Valley Civilization . The state consists of rivers and glaciers. There are many famous rivers which are perennial and are flooded at the time of snowfall and rainfall and basically they all provide water to Ganges and Indus Basins.

The most beautiful and charming place in the state.

Also known as the resort town of northern India. The state is at the edge of the river Beas along the entrance to the Solang valley and to Parvati valley. People used to say that it is nature’s gift to us famous for the age old traditions and rich in cultural heritage.

Tourists love to visit the town in the summer from April to July and in early winters from October to December. The town is famous for trekking, for camping, apple city, Rohtang pass, old manali track.

- The distance from Dehradun to Manali is almost 449 km by road.
- The easiest way to reach Manali to Dehradun is the state transport bus which takes around 10 hours to reach and it is the fastest one too.
- Also we can go by our own vehicles. They provide proper parking with complete safety.
- By Air we have to go to the Bhuntar airport 50 km away from Manali and after that one can take local taxis and bus which are available there easily.
- As we all know that the perfect dose for stress is relaxing in a peaceful place and Manali is the name that comes to A place with deodar and pine forest, mountains tops covered with snow during the winter season.
They are festivals and fairs which are organized from time to time and season to season. Like in winters winter carnival is organized at the New Year’s to celebrate the way of life in the town. In the carnival they are folk dance and cultural programs too.
Fairs and festivals are celebrated in honor of significant days of Himachal. One of the important and famous events and fair of Manali is The Dhungri Devi celebrated in spring season under the shed of deodar trees.
The valley looks more beautiful and pleasant during summers, when temperature is around 22˚C to 30˚C.In deep winters it is covered with plenty of snow. Manali is an adventure seeking place, during winters the temperature is in minus.
